In with the new, complete with new painted rocker cover and larger 440cc injectors :-)
oh and a new heavy duty clutch,

Very nice motor you got there... ;)
Kewl
As ironic as it sounds...the 104 is pretty much a longer M111 ;)
Any pics of the broken internals?
What happened with the new clutch? clutch face? flywheel machining?...pressure rating?.....
Nice cover =)
almost bought a D2 coilover kit for W202 this morning new for 600,springs,adjustable shocks and adjustable hieght in the rear(wtf not sure why no front as well)
Spring rates are 8 and 8.5,after doing some research it turns out thats farkin hard....no sale.

my clutch and flywheel is up at clutch.co.nz at the moment,
so when i talk to them hopefully on monday il find out.
no pictures of the internals yet i havent taken the head off yet just cast her aside, i had to change my piston oil squirters over to the new engine tho, the new engine didnt have them, so not all m104s are created evenly.
i dont know much about spring pressure but damn thats a good deal! were from?
and yea my engine is not only longer than the m111 its better too
:p

i had D2 coilovers on my old hatch
HARD ride. sold em after a few months
Hard to get the oil squirters out?...mine were pressed in absolute pita.
600nz is cheap lol....they are on ebay for 900 - 1000us^^
However...while the shocks are all nicely machined and anodized...very pretty i must say...they will be shit loads harder than eibach or H&R,D2 does race stuff and waht makes it worse is it japanese suspension on a euro.
If your game Redline performance in penrose has the only kit...labeled W202-220,so made for the C220,but even there kit for the 280 is the same as the 220 according to there catalog....go figure...all the other companys have a different kit for the I6....
Check TM first thats where i found it..
no warrenty,no manual. as new.
auction closed on friday with no bids.

Hey,
Just FYI, AMS is coming out with Gen2 M104 pulley which will be meant to handle up to roughly 500HP, its designed to be compatible with all M104 turbo setups so if you are interested in being a test car let me know and we can provide you a dyno tester discount price. Thx

run up bout clutch 2day, they wanted my flywheel, i sent it up on friday but it hadnt got there yet, he thought itd be there in the morning, he just wants the flywheel to make sure the heavy springs will be sweet. hopefully in the next few days but ill see.
nah the oil squirters were easy to get out, almost too easy.
thanks slammed,
its a t3/t4 turbo
Merry Xmas bro!
santa drop you a knew clutch yet? =D
Ah so your squirters where the bolt in type?
Off topic: my headliner dropped think it was due to washing then putting car cover on while still damp.
got it recovered wanted black but ended up with grey cost $200^^ could have got a second hand one for 100,but who knows when that would have shat out...

yea squirters were the bolt in type, easy as, thank god for that, i dont know if i would have bothered if they were pressed in.
ur mate neil talked me into a more serious clutch, haha, good guy tho,
im getting a heavy duty pressure plate, with a solid full kevlar clutch disc, so im not getting springs in the end.
he said itd be sweet and kevlar has a nice gentle take-up with no shuttering, but holds alot of power. and will be good for street use.
i paid 4 it and it shud be on route, $620,
which i consider not to bad, as last time i got my standard one rebuilt to standard spec was like 400.
il post up pics when it gets here, but may be afta newyears, il see if it turns up b4 i leave 4 taupo.
merry xmas to u 2 man,
my lady luv got me some dragon rockstar moto-x goggles and thor kidney belt for xmas, so im stoked as,
peace out my main man
oh yea i got my headliner recovered in black to, but i 4got to get my sun visors done when i did myne, doha
Gutted,really really want mine black^^
Haha yeh he's a bit of a talker...
he and the others gave me a seriously really hard time about making the flywheel out of butter(1045 is not butter),the spec pressure plate was a huge waste of money and looked like a second hand unit that had been repainted(which it kinda did^^),my engineers who made the flywheel were usless(wasnt too happy with that one),the flywheel was too light(yeh whatever),they werent going to help me fix my problems because I didnt come to them in the first place(fair enough),said they get this all the time so dont come back whining to us if it doesnt work....lol
...But once i went in to pay the bill all was just dandy...lol aS.
Cant help but feel that was alittle sales orientated...HOWEVER they seem to know there stuff, there recommended by my balancer who's "the man" and my new setup works very well so far =)
So your not going sprung? 0.o
Do you get any drive train noise on decel?
Nice!,so thats pretty much a new pressure plate and disk for less than half the cost of a spec kit^^...*sigh*
hmm So the standard plate must have been marginal for the pressure they needed to uprate it to to hold the full faced kevlar at the torque you've got?
ho spoilt haha!^^...mine just got me a ball and a few other things been wanting one every time where at the beach=),i just got her a dress...she had a huge list though^^...*babe i need to save for the future er *cough car
Taupo for ny?...im just off to the mount for the first time, friends have a house one street back should be nice!.
Yeh bro peace =)
