W202 Side Mirrors

Hello everyone, happy holidays ! I have a 1995 W202 and was side swiped yesterday and broke my driver's side mirror assembly. Can someone tell me whether a 96-00 side mirror can fit a 93-95 W202 ? Is there actually a difference ? I am looking to buy one from the German e-bay but it says for 96 - 00. Would really appreciate your help on this. Thanks.

Other than dimming feature perhaps(?) They should be relatively the same. Perhaps the harness going to them is different because of the different switch used before 96? :confused:

The mirrors are basically the same, if you have a different plug then you could cut off the plug from your damaged mirror and solder it to the new mirror if there is a problem with fitting, but it should fit without modification. As Ocklass said if there is dimming then maybe it would be a problem.
