help with underbody part

Just noticed the underbody panel that covers the bottom front part
of the engine on my '95 C220 is missing! Anyone know what
that part is actually called and where you can get one (except
the stealership)?

i took mine off because it was hanging, it was missing two of the bolts.

get the steel carter plate instead..

Found out this is called the
"splash shield." Got a replacement
on the web for twenty bucks (stealership wanted fifty). Don't
think I'd want to drive without this.
Keeps the water and crud from your
engine parts.

It is also supposed to smooth airflow and thus help with highway gas mileage.
