Hello all,

I picked up a set of Bilstein Sports and Eibach springs for the c43 and will most likely be ordering a set of Speedybenz's camber arms this afternoon.

I've already replaced the front lower control arm bushings with polyurethane.

What else am I likely to need to replace while I'm in there?

Should I replace the spring pads? What other bushings wear out and cause slop?

I notice a "clunk" on heavy downshift acceleration that seems to be coming from the rear upper shock mount area... perhaps the bushings there are worn out? (the flex plate was just recently replaced btw).

The car has 106k on it now, and I'm sure some rubber in there could use refreshing... just want to know what you guys recommend.

I have a set of speedybenz arms that I'm selling. Bought them about a little over a year ago but never got to install them.

I have two polyurethane bushings too that you might be interested in.

My car is a 95 C280, but I think they're the same parts.

I've posted the stuff on classifieds a couple of days ago.

Speedybenz has two different parts listed, for pre-98 and post-98, on his website, so I'm not sure that they're the same.

What bushings do you have FS?

Well if he has two parts then mine probably are not the right ones for you.

The bushings are polyurethane bushings that, from what I understand, are stronger and last longer than the OEM ones. I bought them from a seller who was on this forum (maybe still is around) called LPD Auto. My understanding is that a few people have installed them on their cars. They're two bushings per car for the lower control arm on the front.

I'm selling the pair for $100. Here's the posting from the classifieds section:

Speedybenz's two different parts account for the spacer sizes for different model years.

I cannot remember the details, but one is larger than the other due to a larger OEM bolt.

Oh, I actually moved back last summer to Indiana. I used to live in Longmont and work in Boulder. If you ever saw a black 202 in CO that sounded ridiculously loud, that would have been me :D

It's totaled now :(
