Greetings,

I am not mechanically inclined so I will describe the situation to the best of my ability. My mechanic was in the process of changing my control arm bushings but he ran into a major impediment. He said when he took the bolt from the original control arm bushing and placed it into the polyurethane bushing it was ill fitting. Please see the photos attached. The first set of photos are of the the original bushing, and the second set is the polyurethane bushing. I don't know if you can tell from the images but in the original bushing the bolt goes through without a problem but in the polyurethane bushing the bolt "pops up at the top a little." I don’t see why he is having a problem with installing the bushings because I know many of you have made the switch. Thank you for your time.

ReMoLexi
thats right you cant use those bolts. go to your dealer and buy camber correction bolts or "caster" bolts. they fit fine and striaghten your negitive camber a little if your lowered. make sure your tech uses some soapy water to pop those bushings in. Good luck Jeff!

It looks like I will be making a trip to the dealership. Thanks RKD.

The bolt kit I purchased had this part number: 202-330-01-18. Also, I must add that it was rather expensive. $20 for a bolt and a couple of washers. :(
