Hey, as some of you might know, I installed a amp & sub into the 202... I took off the battery for the installation and when I finished installing everything then went for a drive around town.. but the car doesn't pull like it use to... it takes awhile for it to switch gears and pull. I didn't have this problem before.. is it because I took out the battery (did I reset something in the computer)?? what shall I do... ??

Thanks for reading.

Thats what happens when you install sounds, not only does it wiegh a ton but it sucks your alternator dry too:p jks

I think some of the autos have that driver learning function,so it might just take a few days to come right again!,it is unlikley removing the 12v will have caused any other problems apart from basic settings.

Cheers,
Paul

yes you reset your transmission when you unplugged the battery, give it a day or so of fast driving and it should correct itself

but im gonna say that adding the weight of a sub.. sub box and amp wont help too much with acceleration!!
hopefully things work out.

It's actually "S"tandard and "W"inter mode. In standard mode the tranny starts in gear 1 but in winter mode it starts in gear 2. This was a design from MB to help drivers keep from having the tires slip on slippery conditions
