yea see on that picture of that rubber pad there are 2 little dimples sticking up at about 10 oclock and 2 oclock those are the things we were talking about, you have number 2 of 5,
yea cut another full coil, and if its too much you can add in a higher number rubber pad.
those rubber pads come different thickness's.
if it rubs on the top inside when u lower it more (it may rub on the fuel filler line) you can bend that in a bit, and bash a bit of the tin on the front edge, but you may need to get adjustable camber arms to camber the tire outwards at the top and more upright so it doesnt rub so much on the inside, see how you get on,
speedy benz sells the camber arms i beleive.

i love your spelling :D

Wait for it to settle a little bit. How much gas do you have in your car?

do you have pics of the car now? how it sits before and now?
a coil is pretty good!! I wouldnt cut more then that. either drop it to a #1 pad.. or give it a few days of driving and see if it settles a little bit.
it should have dropped more with a coil cut off!

dont do it, i see people always trying to cut to much and when the lower it too much they need new springs. let them settle and you will probly get the height you are looking for. another thing the lower you go will also reflect the wear of the tire , camber wear , shocks etc etc.

get a after pic so i can see it! and make it the right size.
i think jnolte ment that your car will go thru tires because of the camber on the road not from rubbing the guard

ask for a rear number 5 spring pad. its only going to add like 5-10mm MAYBE to the height, you should of waited and not cut more off!

SSSSLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPP didnt i tell you not to cut it again ..... even tho it looks killer adding any weight to the back will cause some issues . #5 pad is the thickest they make and i didnt know you could stack those pads . wont that cause issues stacking them since the spring lay into the pad?

Why did you even bother asking the board about what to do?

We told you what to do, and you did the exact opposite.

SEARCH is your friend.

the air suspension will be cool though, lay it on the ground when parked!

double stack the pads,
you can get the pads which are designed for a ground flat topped spring, so get like number 2s of that style rubber pad and then stick your number 4 below it (on the spring side)
the steel spring cups on the chassis are massive, and will still easily contain the spring.

what if I cut stock springs? would the ride not be stiff enough? any other pros / cons? not cutting them to low, i just want to fill the gap between the well and tire. i want as much comfort but to spend as lityle, i dont have the money for buying new springs although i can find used OEm springs in case i screw up or want to change back

I have some C43 AMG springs you can buy for 100 bucks, they are somewhat stiffer so they are better to cut
