Hey all ! Need front brakes badly for my C280. I do drive spirited, especially around the twisty bits. I've done some reading on the C32 setup for the 202's. Just wondering if C36 or C43 brakes will bolt right up in place of the stock C280 (discs, calipers)? Is there a difference in size? Just trying to get the most bang for my buck. In other words, the OE brakes are just adequate. Want better stopping power without breaking (braking) the bank. Thanks for all replies.

Yes to bolt-on applications. 96-97 C36 brakes are the same as your 280, and C43 or C32 brakes are your best bets.

Discs are particularly expensive for those cars because they have two-piece rotors. Worth the price though :D

300 and they r yours, or make a offer. DIscs are 2 piece, ive seen aftermarket 1 piece ones for much cheaper if you wanted.

They are really powerful brakes... let me know what you want to do!

I kind of remembered/thought they were floating.. but Ive never seen the C43's over here with 2 piece rotors from factory!
its a pretty decent sized rotor too from what I can remember.
