I've been researching on the ASR defeat. One thing eludes me though. The wiring for our vehicles is different than the 500E that the ASR defeat write up is based on. Would I be correct in assuming that all I would have to do is correctly identify the ASR wires for our vehicle, and follow the same procedures? Or does the ESP integration make things even more complex?

Uh, even if you "turn off" the ASR by pushing the button it is still operational (just not as sensitive). I was asking how to completely bypass the system on my vehicle. Thank you for your useless post, I found the info I was asking for elsewhere. ;)

This is incorrect. The sensitivity is unchanged. The only difference is that the throttle is no longer modulated, just the brakes are.

I've posted what I've done with this in the past as well.

I turn off abs and esp at will- but do not separate the two
