A/C Recharge points

Does anyone know where I can find the high side recharge point for the A/C? I found the low side pretty easily.

Need to check if I have any freon in the system. My "97 C280 spluttered for a few minutes a a little smoke came from the compressor side and now my A/C no longer works. Any ideas?

One port is in the grill on the right side. The other ports is on the ac compressor on the right hand side if you are facing the engine. It is hard to spot because of the black cap over it... hope this helps.

Does anybody have any pics of where the high side charging valve is. I see where someone mentioned it in being in the grill. I still don't see it.

it is to the right of the auxiliary fans, covered with a black cap.

Thanks man.Can't believe how I missed it. Anyway, ended the weekend on a sad not. Got the new compressor in, vacuumed the system and actually got it working. Air was as cold. About to to close the hood for the night and we hear a huge blow of swoosh. Looked and there was gas and oil leaking out somewhere near the compressor. Could see where it was coming from. We used new o-rings from benz, new compressor. So not sure what the deal was since it worked for quite a while.

I'm not sure, but I doubt it.I guess I'll find out this weekend
