Warning llight for worn brake pads has come one. Will
have it checked but pretty surprised since the rear pads
were replaced little of over a year ago and the front ones
at that time were like new. Anyone know if that pad light can be
tripped off by something other than worn pads?

did you replace the brake pad sensors when the pads were replaced?

Pull off you tire and inspect your brakes, if they show wear then replace those suckers. If theres a good amount of thickness on them your going to have to pull off the pannel under the driver dash, and behind the brake....theres a brake light sensor...you may have to take it out...pull on the button till you hear some clicks then pop it right back behind the brakes.

cru how is the brake light switch have any thing to do with a brake pad light going on????

there are sensors on the front pads only , so if your getting a light it may be a sensor or the pads you bought are worn....were the pads aftermarket?
