2000 c230 - 125k

Supercharger saga continues - original failed at about 105k (clutch failed). Got a re-mfg. Lasted 10K until seal failed and blew oil throughout intake. Replaced again. Had to replace MAF. Now at about 125k the SC is shutting down (clutch does not engauge) at acceleration. When I shut the engine down and restart, it works again.

Searched the threads and I've seen some discussion about VDO's failing and O2 sensors causing this. No CEL

Anyone have a similar experience?

Did it give you any codes when you scanned it?

Thanks Logic,

So what exactly is that? Seems like the SC shuts down when I get into the 5,000RPM range. When I shut off the ignition then restart, it's back.

I'm cool with replacing parts since the car has 125k - just don't know where to start
