Repairable?...Don't even think about it.

This rim is dangerous...even during tyre inflation, let alone a catastrophic failure driving on it. Don't trust anyone who says that they can repair it.

I wrecked a couple of AMG rims recently after hitting a very deep water-filled pothole at night. Onen was repairable and one was not.

The unrepairable one didn't look that bad but had compression damage that could be seen on the surface in the crystalline structure.

The wheel shop told me of a very nasty failure that took out an apprentice during tyre inflation in our local area.

Provide the part number of the wheel, the brand, and description (size and offset) and someone will find you a low cost replacement.

Well after its all said and done, they tried to repair it...still fucking leaked...not only did they not fix the leak......they fucked up the bead that seals the tire....The shop is pretty reluctant on replacing the tire since they claim that they would put this on tire on their car and drive it around.....Yeah i'm sure you would cause you drive a mini-van and don't go over 40mph....So i have road hazard coverage on the tire...i told this dip shit over the phone...call them up and say there was sidewall damage that way theres no cost to you at all! What does he do...say theres bead damage......I call back the road hazard company back...they say hold on i have to get my manager (mind you i actually wait on the phone for less then 30sec) and he says its CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE, which is not covered.....So i'm like tryin to bullshit my way into getting a replacement...Saying your telling me Tire hitting pothole, pothole pinches the tire...and cracks the rim..and your saying the rim caused the damage to the tire? He says yes, then i ask to speak to a manager..sorry manager left for lunch about 20mins ago (WTF KINDA BULLSHIT IS THAT THE PHONE CALL WASN'T EVEN 7 MINS LONG)..i wanted to tell him So if i break your arm..your bone punctures your skin...who's at fault for the damage to your skin me or the bone? The new rim is coming tomorrow....as soon as they put the tire on...and if theres one mother fucking leak or a tit im really gonna flip out
