Changed the transmission fluid last night and I guess you are supposed to run the engine before adding in all 5.8 quarts of fluid. Quart five was almost all in and then I heard the sound of liquid hitting the ground....argh! You can imagine the thoughts and words that came to mind as it was 1:00am. On a separtrate note I was shocked at how dirty the fluid was for only having 30K. Sediment galore in the pan and the sfluid dripping out of the filter was thick and dark. The end result is a day and night difference in shifting.....smooth as a baby's bottom.
