Hi guys!
How many of you have Porterfields R4S streetpads on your beloved C-klasse?
I have them on my C43 AMG!

Do you like em'?

Their biting when braking isn't as good as the factory JURIDS!
The Porterfields are kinda slipping if they are not warmed up!

But they don't dust the same as the jurids!
That's good!

I never heard of any squeeking from the brakes they have always been quiet when braking!
They fit the calipers perfect!
They are good for it's price vs performance!
I bought mines 4 years ago I think I paid about 120-150 US d. I don't remeber exactly!
How much do they cost today?
Are factory Jurids cheaper to buy?

Are there any international importers for Porterfields brakepads?
I live in Sweden so I never seen any importer for these pads!
I ordered my pads from Formymercedes.com

Cheers

kowalski,

I live in Australia, but, I buy a lot of parts from these folks in USA because they are cheap and very reliable:

what's up mate, long time no see!
it's been a while since I vizited de forum!
Shame on me!:bunny:
When I bought my P.F. R4S I think Jerry at formymerecedes.com ordered them directly from Porterfield ad the brakepad company shipped them to me!
I'm still using them on my car they are about less than 30,000km old!
I bought my car 5 years ago at 59,000km!
Now it's about 92,000km on the clock!
I'm not driving it often!
I have stored it for winter now, In Sweden road department trucks are soaking up the streets with salt for prevention of sliding on icy roads!

What can you say about this, I want a rustfree car so no winter use for me!
Mercedes cars are real rustbuckets in sweden!
Especially the 202's and 210's, these cars are rubbish from rust point of view in Sweden!
I want to keep my ca' for long time so I have to tuck it away from salt!
Cheers mate

I had them on my JSPEC Integra and liked them a lot...they did dirty up the wheels faster than the average pads but they are great for stopping! I can't remember where I got them.
