I have a 1998 W202 c230 retrofitted with an e-class 2.0 comand unit. The car has the rj-45 connector in the dash and rj-45 as well as an antenna connector in the center console. Is there a bluetooth solution or a way to connect a mini usb phone to the comand?

The only thing I can suggest is contacting cellguy85 on ebay.. he sells bluetooth kits for mercedes (and he knows his stuff). tell him what you have and he'll put a kit together for you.
I was going to buy one for my W202 (with Euro comand) but I decided against it as my car is freakin loud! hard to hear hands free.
so instead Ill probably get a kit off him for my W210 instead.
he quoted me $650 I think it was for a bluetooth kit for my w202.

if he doesnt make a unit for your command parrot makes a device that will work pretty much with any deck. they have generic versions which add a speaker and there are units that will work threw your speakers meaning when your phone rings the deck is muted or shut off and the person can be heard threw your speakers. its a external piece and also there is a higher version that does a ipod connection and usb connector on it....

Well, Cellguy85 said the wiring would be too difficult, but someone told me that MBENZNL has done this installation in the past and I have sent him a note asking for assistance or even a kit.

If Keith couldnt help you out, Steve (MbenzNL) can for sure.
I was quoted a price of $1400 or $1500 us from Steve for a BT kit in my 1999 W202. but i decided against it in my w202 since my car is just way too loud to use BT!
