I am thinking about installing those illuminated door sills. Have anyone every installed those on a W202? How difficult is it? And where did you purchase them at?

Yes many people here have them... i dont know why they arnt answering you. but you can get them off of ebay and mercedeshop i think. installation is hard but also basic idk. Do a search for it and there will be PLENTy of info on them.

Hi !

I've the blue one, and took a set from Steve (MbenzNL).
They 're not OEM, only the front one are illuminated, but the finition is Ok.

I also have a set from Steve for a 208, and they work well. As they are aftermarket, it doesn't quite fit perfectly, but I'm happy with the results. Also, it took a bit more effort to not cut into any existing wires, but I feel that it was worth it.

I also have a set, but haven't installed them yet. Partly becuase it's a little too complicated for me. Both the front and rears will light up though.

Thanx for the info JRE, but I am thinking it may be too complicated to mess with. No one on this forum is saying it's simple to install. I don't know if I want to go through the hassel with the installation. And yes I live in Fremont...

It's very simple. "+" "-" cable and whala! Illuminated door sills!
