My 1995 C280 was making some odd clanking noises in the rear of the car the other day so I jacked it up to investigate. Turns out the sway bar link that connects the sway bar to the lower control arm on the passenger side broke. I also noticed that the bushing on both the driver and passenger side lower control arm is toast. (That explains the swaying in the wind) Does anyone know if it's possible to replace this one by hand? Has anyone successfully done it?

I've included some pictures to help describe the situation a little better. The other bushings appear a little bit better, don't you agree? The first two are on the rear passenger side, the rest are on the rear driver side.

Thanks in advance!!

Those broken sway bar end links are common! I have a broken left rear on my w202 right now.
as for the lower control arm bushings and other bushings in the other arms.. I don't think they are replaceable separate.. but I could be wrong. it may be the entire arm as a replacement.
the last bushing you have a pic of is for the spindle, its the bushing in the bottom of the lower rear spindle.
