So today I hit a pothole going about 45mph (damn you N.J. and your lame road maintenance!) I hit it with the right front wheel, which I feel is cursed, I have had soooo many problems on that corner of the car. I now have 2 bubbles on the outer sidewall of my relatively new Goodyear Eagle GT's mounted on stock wheels. One is the size of a quarter the other a bit bigger. So now tomorrow I'm out to pick up a new tire, what fun!

I'm calling up the D.O.T. tomorrow to see if i can get reimbursed for the new tire, as this was a HUGE hole (was dark out, no streetlight at that turn) and the hole was unmarked.

got a new Eagle GT for $59 wholesale. The goodyear store wanted $83 for it:confused:

Lucky, you got $59 for tire. Some of us here cost more than a hundred. :)

Hate to be the bearer of bad news...but, you are also likely to have a buckle in that wheel :(

the wheel was actually perfectly fine, tire balanced out perfectly no vibrations at any speed

One dark stormy night with flooding rain, one pothole, two dented and buckled wheels, one wheel unrepairable and one tyre destroyed...in the blink of an eye.

haha potholes in nj dont compare to the ones we get in boston. you just have to avoid them at all cost.
