Universal Antennae?

So my antennae has decided to break (the motor still works, just the antennae mast has broken) and I decided to keep it down since it does look a lot better without an antenna sticking out. However, obviously the reception will suffer but I just want to know if it anyone has replaced it with a different antennae while receiving good reception? I'd like one that would probably be hidden somewhere..

+1. My antenna broke a while back and have decided just to let it be for a while. Any suggestions on replacement.
How about the short & stubby one from an SL? will that work?

Have you tried the windshield mount antenna?

I also have SLK radio antenna for mounting inside the rear bumper but never got a chance to install it.

If it only lasted 3 weeks you should have gotten a free replacement since it still would have been under warranty.

I would but it took my lazy ass 6 months to get around to installing it.

I dont want the antennae mast to go up, which is why I posted it here. Otherwise I would have replaced it already. I am looking for an alternative/upgrade antennae.

I'm not sure if the connection works with the OEM connections. I might have to peel back the carpet in the trunk again. I had taken antennae connection off for over a year already.

Still looking for one that someone has actually purchased and used... might be my next project.. along with replacing the deck.. (OEM buttons are all loose!!)
