An odd question for everyone.

Why do all the speed guages have a orange spotted area between the 40-60 km/hr area?

Is there a reason for it?

Mine doesn't.
I remember from other MBs that they would have orange dots at the shift points. Could that explain it?

Well it is around the same area, which is the normal city speed range. So I guess that could be it.. but it's kind of stupid. Especially if the speed limit ever changed.

I thought it might have been for optimal performance in terms of fuel.
