the best performance is going to be from either copper or silver spark plugs.

their should be a sticker on right hans side under bonnet near rad telling you whar you can use

their should be three types
champion C11YCC ,
BERU 14F-BDU4 ,
BOSCH F8DC4

THIS IS WHAT MY C36 CAN TAKE and the c36 is a tuned c280 and re-bored c280 same engine m104

I always, always, always only use OEM plugs. The Bosch F8DC4. My engine hates when I try anything else.

I know for a fact that M104 performs exceptionally with silver plugs, however, those are extremely hard to find these days, and they dont last very long either, about 20-30k miles at most.
Nology used to sell them, also Beru had a line called Silverstone.

I also use NGK Iridiums. I like em. Kinda wish I had pulled the injectors for a cleaning and flow test at the same time though...

Ive found my M104 C280 only like the F8dc4's from the dealer. LOL

bosch only are the best for fueling and they last last a long time you get your moneys worth

I run NGK Iridiums as well. Cannot tell any performance difference over stock.
