Idle goes crazy...please help

hey guys i have a 00 c230 k and i have an issue...when im driving my car will jerk and when i stop my car will start to shake and almost turns off, i changed the air mass sensor and all that stuff that goes attached to it, but a MB guy said its my wiring harness...can you guys help??...any thoughts would help

yes fuel filter
and check fuel pump pressure
then check maf
then plugs and ht leads and coils

what makes him think wiring harness as this is a big money job and sends most old w202 to the scrap yard


best advice is ask him to show were harness is gone i bet he wont


and the best advice i can give is get a star test done and it will tell you cost in ireland 20 euro

horgantrevor is correct. The wiring harness issues were only present on 1994-1996 W202's, and almost entirely only on C280's. A 2000 C230k would be extremely unlikely to need a wiring harness.

This one is likely something simple. When you hear hooves, don't think zebra. Think horse.

hey guys well i checked the fuel filter and the pump and its fine...i had the check engine light come on a lil while ago and i checked it with the tester from auto zone and it said something about fuel bank 1 and fuel bank2 and o2 censors...has anyone had this before??
