Out with the dead wood

I know it is not the best use of money but the cracked wood trim in the car was driving me nuts. Really made me feel like I was driving a beater. Anyway all is good now.....here are the old pieces that were replaced. Sad thing is that the cracks will reappear according to everything I have read.

I refinished mine and it was such a pain in the butt. Given that alternative, money well spent.
