Hi All,

I am new to the forum, I own a 1999 W202 C200 (Petrol) Right Hand Drive sedan. Its currently doing just over 35,000 miles.

My problem the acceleration is very slow and sluggish when the a/c is on. With the a/c off it drives a little quicker.

During the last service the following was done :

New brake pads (Genuine)
oil & filter changed
Fuel filter changed
New spark plugs (NGK Iriduim installed )
service and clean injectors
clean throttle body
clean air flow sensor
K&N air filter installed
Power steering fluid changed
Coolant changed
no faults or errors detected from ecu

I have to change the following :

Belt tensioner pulley
shifter bushings
belt
power seat relay
replace one instrument panel bulb (thermometer gauge)

Any suggestions with regards to what can be the problem will be appreciated.

Thanks.

You don't have a problem. Your car is a 4 banger that's why it's slow when the a/c is on.

How slow are you talking about? Sure these aren't powerful, but does it seem abnormally slow?
I don't notice a big difference with or without the a/c on.
