Figure I share this with my MB fam.

I recently got hooked up by LEDmod.com. A good friend and me (long time customer) Sean (ledmod.com) had given me puddle lights and various LED bulbs. His Quality and customer service has always been Top Notch, And the same to his recent version of his puddle light system.

Instead Of chrome housings causing odd looking halos on the ground due to reflection, These are a black housing design that eliminates the odd halo effect that the other type of puddle lights have.

Install, Was quick and easy. You need to drill into your side skirt due to it being a flush mount puddle light system. So i broke out the Uni Bit that was 7/8 in size, and it worked perfectly. The hole needs to be 22mm in diameter, and the mounting depth is small. I ended up using grommet under the car to route the wires into the car. Install is a breeze. The lights daisy chain onto each other and he supplied extra wire to run into the car. All you have to do is run the wire up to your dome lights and Wire them into directly into your dome lights to complete the easy installation.

Heres some pics of the 202.

It even comes with a switch so you can wire em up a different way.

All in all a stellar product and a upright and stand up guy. So if you want to order this product or different LED products. I would recommend LEDmod.com

Heres a link to his site and the puddle lights.

Get em while they are hot!

Hmm, Maybe i'll use these for my interior lighting, where the foot area is for the drivers and passengers. That might actually be kind of cool :D

Thanks for the heads up on these

Looks great man. Is it legal to change your turn signals to LED like that ? And this guy just had to take his chance to take a stab at your cars style "not a fan of hellaflush/VIP but" .... LOL who does that.

not taking a stab, just saying I don't like the look. but it looks like a good product for those who are. I'm more into the dtm look myself.

As for LEDs depends on where you live I guess. they are very lax on that stuff around here, as long as you have lights that are obviously indicators that do the job of indicating you are probably safe.

Perhaps it's just the camera angle, but there's something different about your trunk lid that I cannot put my finger on... any mods? And what kind of LEDs did you put in your tail lights? The ones I put in my tail lights are bright but look like nothing behind the red lens =\

No mods to the trunk lid yet. Soon though. I have LED bulbs from my friend LEDmod.com. They are super bright!

Isn't there usually a black rubber lining around the molding above the license plate? How did you get that piece to be all white?

The Molding started to come off. So i just trimmed it so It still seals the water from coming in, And looks clean.

Another product from LEDmod.com
