Just purchased a very nice and clean 280 for my wife but to make her completely happy I need some wheels. I found some on ebay but they have a 44 offset. Is that too mush for this car? It seems like 35 is the max according to http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/information/fitting_chart/mercedes-benz

heres a link to the rims please lmkhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140587895407

and heres a pic of the new ride! 60k very well maintained, only serviced by mb

it should fit but you would need at least 15mm spacers to make em work coz of the wheel widths...

i have the w220 ones on with et44 all around 8.5 fronts and 9 rears....

^^ LOL! never mind the wife.

I want to see more pictures of the W202. Azure blue is not a common color for a 202. Very rare.

AMG aero11's Those looks good! Not wide enough for my taste but for sure fit the 202's lines nicely. How did you get around the high offset ? I believe those are 18x8.5 +44ET all around no ?

Nice perfect Offset after you added the spacers. Any plans to drop her down maybe just a little ? Would look very nice.

Drop just the front. IMHO

Drop just the front. IMHO

May I ask why on earth would you rake out a car on purpose ? ( its not a muscle car ) Drop just the front.... ? really...... How about just some H&R springs or something.

PLEASE go lower, at least for your beautiful car's sake. Those wheels are damn sexy but springs and shocks will even that wheel gap out nicely.
I just got lowered on h&r springs and bilstein sports with some Lorinser 17" wheels and I never scrape nor rub.. well except when turning the wheel to lock in a tight parking garage or something lol, its worth it dude!

hows the ride with that setup emill? this car is my wifes daily, I already had to remove lowering springs off her jetta because she got sick of bouncing around. This car rides so solid! I dont want to go thou that again...

When i was lowered on H&R sports and bilsteins the ride was amazing. no bounce. firm and still plush like OEM height. If you go any lower than the H&R sport drop then you start to sacrifice the ride quality.
