Semi-functioning lock button

The lock on the center console does not seem to be working correctly. When pressed, I hear a noise similar to the noise of the door locking/unlocking, but nothing happens. Has anyone else had this issue before?

Check vacuum lines. More than likely, there's probably just a loose hose.

Where are the vacuum lines located?

the first place I'd look is at the distribution block where all the electronics are in the engine compartment. near firewall passenger side
