Hey Young World, im back and with yet another problem.
In my 1994 C220, it keeps spitting out coolant. What i mean by this is as the car begins to get real warm (external temp of around 80+) the cars coolant is spat out the coolant overflow hose till about the point where the coolant light cuts on. I notice it starts happening when the cars temp goes above the 80 degree mark. Its too damn annoying because its happening more often now. Once it even got to the point where the metal got so hot, and the coolant was being spit out, it began to vaporize, making smoke...i was with this girl, and it made my car seem like a bucket. -___-

What is the normal idling temperature?

So any help/advice?? :(

sounds like a thermostat problem. Very easy to replace.

Perhaps provide your location in order to suggest a good independent mechanic near you as well as on-line supplier.

I live in PG County, Maryland.
So i should just try and replace it?

Go for it. It's one of the easier jobs to do.

Along with checking the thermostat,
Check the radiator cap is sealing properly, you engine coolant will boil if it doesnt. If the system is pressurised I wouldnt expect to see any discharge until at least 120 degree's C(guesstimate)
If equiped Check the Viscous fan is locking up when hot...temps will rise quickly in traffic if it is free spooling.

Cheers,
Paul

I already replaced the radiator cap, and it wasn't that.
But i am going to change the thermostat, and see if that helps.
