I will be updating interior as well as exterior parts and pieces in my 97 C230 mainly for cosmetics purposes.
To achieve this I will be wrapping them with 3M CF.

I practiced on my old iPhone first generation. (non operational) which turn out crappy.

To start off I wrapped the driver side B pillar cover.

Passenger side:

I may have to do this side over because the pattern doesn't line up.

Very good idea, i may have to steal this off you!

knock yourself out!
It's an easy project to do. Key thing is, you have to use the 3M CF (nothing less), sharp exacto knives and clean surroundings.

Lots of patience too. LOL!

I had to do over the passenger side. Looks better now that patterns all line up.

It was a bitch to get them off in the first place. This 3M stuff sticks on there like it's gonna last forever. Heat gun helped me out a lot.

Thanks Keppe.

Now for the hard part. Interior trims.

project is on hold until I receive shipment of different color 3M CF. Black doesn't blend well with parchment colored interior.

Brown CF came in the mail yesterday.

Worked on it last night. I think it's butt UGLY!. Doesn't blend well.

Looks great. After seeing your results I might have to get some of that stuff and give it a try. I really like the beige tone.

Thanks. But in my opinion it's ugly. I will try to do this in another color.
The supplier I bought it from does not have much of color selection. I also wanted a different type
of pattern like the AMG ones. Otherwise i will google more places to get this from.

Yeah, the Biege doesnt look good IMO. Very good job though, atleast all the lines are going the same way (ive seen them go in different directions on some cars, looks super bad).

I agree. I'm not sure what color will look good with parchment interior color.

I'll leave it alone for a few days then I'll remove it over the weekend.

..ummmm, I actually like it.

Do you have a link to the supplier you can give us?

Want my black shift knob to complete the look?

I certainly do agree with you. I'm trying my best to find one similarly colored as the door trim.
