i complained about a rattling noise but could not figure out where its coming from, well i found out that its comming straight from my shifter!! what can that mean?

I am going to have to agree with JRE on that one.....LOL!!:D :rolleyes:
Does it make the rattle noise at idle when your just sitting there in park? Or is the noise when you moving at a certain speed? There are a few things that could be making that noise. Either the shifter handle is loose, bad catalytic converter, loose linkage, and many more things. Just need to know a little more info!!!

sometimes it rattles like plastic on the stop, but rarly and its very light, but as soon as i step on the gas, then it rattles the most

Check whether you got something inside the handle or surrounding area that makes the noise. ;)

umm, ill take it to the mechanic, but i certainly hope it has nothing to do with the actual transmition

my mechanic told me its the shifter bushings..costs about 90 to fix

I got the same problem that irritating rattle. It just started a week ago. So how did the bushing replacement go?

The bushing cost only $0.50 ea. the labor is costly coz I replaced
mine a long time ago.
