Not sure why, maybe I just need to change the bulbs behind those? Which I doubt...
Do I have to replace the whole panel or will it do with some new fresh LED's?

How's your battery? This kind of thing happened to me when my battery is about to give up. It's worth to start there. Other than that, let others chime in and see what they say.

I'm not sure about its condition, I've only had the car during some weeks. Everything else is working fine though, so I'm pretty sure the problem is inside the panel. Thanks for the reply!

I'll try find a proper w202 thread that shows you how to fix that problem
this one is for the w210, but it might be useful

I found out that the flat cables are most definitely damaged, so I'll have to try with some new ones.

Ah I see, those ribbon cables deteriorate in time.

If the shim fix doesn't help for the connector, you might want to see about getting the unit re-manufactured by someone like BBA.

Before spend money for new ribbon, you can put on the contact of ribbon on motherboard of the instruments (obviously opened like for change ribbons) simply spray for cleaning electric contacts, sometime can be enough.
