1998-2000 Smoked Tail Lights

I would like to switch to facelifted tail lights. I should be able just to switch my pre-face lift tail lights with the facelifted right?

do you know how to pull it out? i'm really getting irritated... my third brake light's socket keep's popping out... and yeah...

fix the prob first open boot and pull down black cover and toy will see a grey cover twist the center tab and out comes the light bulb holder for that side now if you want to remove the face just look around the edge of the light in the boot you will see 6 or so size 10 socket nuts to remove best to remove the black liner in boot in the corner for ease of access

when all the size 10 bolts are out one more clip its a long tab in the center of the lights must pulled down this will release the face of the light lens and is to stop it falling once bolts are removed

i hope this helps the bulb falling out if that part is broken get a second hand one in scrap yard (breakers)
you may even find a set of face lift light their or else best bet ebay

u got to pull the cluster out to do so... and why has it been popping out?!? my family has owned my car since 04 and i just replaced it recently... are you sure you're using the right bulb/ nothing broken on your high mount light?

Yes I know for sure that the bulb is right because I got the bulb at the dealership... i think the socket thingy may not be fitting exactly right because i have not owned my car the entire time... my aunt was the original owner so I am thinking maybe when she replaced it before maybe the socket got slightly bent out of shape... nothing serious or anything... i just don't hear that click...

I figure a tail light with a chip is worth $0 so better to give it away as I can't bear to toss it out. It is really a small chip that most wouldn't notice. I just have a bunch of odds and ends from my eBay buying days. Turns out I just "found" a center consul and a set of update tails which I had totally forgotten about. Hate to say I don't think I'll be giving those away. :P
