What are the best aftermarket speakers to get for a 2000 C230 K? I want it to be very easy to hook up without having to cut any wires or anything like that. I looked on www.crutchfield.com polks, alpine type r's, and kickers but on all of the instructions to install them they say they need the wires to be spliced. Any help would be appreciated! Also how do I figure out if I have a bose or non bose?

Splicing wires is very simple, almost easier than opening your car door. Why dont you want to splice? Unfortunatley, the way MB connects speakers is by welding the connector pieces making them virtually useless for aftermarket speakers.

I would go with Polk's or Kickers if you can afford em, or get the cheaper brand and go pioneer.

So there aren't any speaker that plug straight into the stock connecter?

They are welded on, you could try to break them off. Doubt that will work lol. Why dont you want to splice?

ahhh gotcha lol. Mine were welded on. i dont think there are for that kind of connection, but dont hold me to that, i just dont knwo of any. If you want to take the splicing route, its not hard by the imagination. And the wires come with all aftermarket speakers. If your interested, I can go on.

Are they fiber optics? I believe that you should rewire the entire audio system in your car.
