Facelift LED Third Brake Light

Has anyone ever updated their third brake light from pre-facelift to facelift? My third brake light stopped working completely and I know that it's the third brake light itself so I am thinking it would be a good time to get a led facelift third brake light to replace the nonusable one I have now.

Yes I know there's many threads about this but I did not see one about replacing the third brake light with an led facelift one...

I think it's illegal to use led. I don't know...

I have tried, they use different connectors on the bottom, though im sure you could hardwire it somehow

Once a 2000 w202 came into the dealership i work at, so I tried to swap it into my '94, if i remeber correctly, the reason i didn's was, it had like a mulit-pin connector, that was different from the pre-updates.

oh okay... um do you still work at the dealership? If you do can you check the led third brake light for me on a facelift W202 when you get the chance? I really wanna pull this off...

It was a Ford dealership, they dont have anymore facelifts, lol
