Mirror Issue... Need QUICK FIX HELP

Hey guys, Im back from a long vacation... sold my 94 C220 a few years ago. Just recently picked up a 96 c280 daily driver. My problem is that my passenger mirror is loose. The previous owner upgraded (or downgraded.. depends how you look at it) the mirrors to the M3 style. So I am unsure how to access the bolts or clips to tighten the piece. I first tried to access the mirror hardware by removing the inside door pannel & plastic trim, but no luck. Once I searched my issue on club202, I found that the original mirrors had a spring that you could push to fold the mirrors & access the bolts. But these M3 style mirror wont fold or budge.

ANY ADVICE?

Check a bimmer forum?

Not to sound like a jerk, but if they are M3 style mirrors, I think the best bet (unless someone here has knowledge) would be to check a BMW forums.
