How to install exhaust muffler DIY, WITHOUT welding? Sorry about another exhaust thread!

I will install an aftermarket muffler, but all i've got is a grinder saw, some c-clams and screws. No welding, no exhaust shops. Im a DIY guy:cool:
My idea is to saw off the old muffler at the marked spots and use the stock thing its hanging on + c-clam, to hang the new muffler on it... ideas?

you can clamp it on.

you can use jb weld?

use both, better to weld though. Clamping and JB weld(exhaust sealant) will work though
