Alloys, help me choose!

Hello fellow owners.

I'm bored, and most importantly i find that my original c class sport wheels are not up to my themes standard, and im after something that will go very well with it!
here is a picture as it stands;

the entire car so far is blacked out, and i wanted to keep to that sleeper theme. i think the wheels look too 'sport' and im after something that looks lazy or even laid back. I plan on going 17 inch with stretched tyres and maybe go as wide as 9j.

Im open to any brand of wheel! please just help me with some ideas! :(
I've been trying to find a set of VW Golf GTI Monzas (sp?) that come on the new gtis as standard.. but theyre very hard to find in the right size :(

Any suggestions welcome!

and oh 17X9 is not that big of a stretch....

i thought so, but i dont think ive seen anything 17x10 or more with a 5x112 fitment.

BBS LM? I dont think they will look very good on a merc :/ more of a 7 series bmw set of rims..

yeah, ive been looking at the brabus monoblocks, almost £700 a set if im lucky!

carlsson 2/6s would look nice. also, look up the OZ amg 3 piece wheels. 17s by 8.5 front and 10 rear

damn the carlsson 2/6s aint a bad idea! i wonder where i could get a set considering im over the pond?

yeah, the OZ's are nice, but i think they suit like.. old lexus's? i think it might be because of the split rim itself. though very nice idea man, thanks for the input.

well I guess its personal preference, but I prefer the sporty look. Then again I track my car and I prefer speed to cruising.

Yea anytime, man. They're hard to find, unfortunately I've been looking for 1/6s or 2/6s for a while too so I can't help you there.. But I know what you mean, I personally like the OEM look myself

if you like the oem look then I would go for some clk wheels from the same period.

understood, i'd like the sporty look, but maybe only on a 201, or a convertible ;)
