Good day all !
I own a W202 1999 C200 Petrol sedan, right hand drive doing 36,000 miles. Lately the power steering has been feeling a bit heavy, the power steering pump doesn't make any noise or have any leaks but the fluid has never been changed.
I have been reading on many forums that only genuine Mercedes Benz fluid must be used in the W202 model, however this fluid is overly expensive from my dealer and I want to flush out the entire power steering system.
If the Pentosin CHF 11S can be used I will buy it, I have also been looking at the Amsoil Universal power steering fluid.
Can anyone recommend from experience whats the best fluid to use?
Should I use the Pentosin or Genuine MB Fluid or otherwise ?
Kindly advise, any info is greatly appreciated.
