I have a 97 pre facelift C230 Estate.
It has the 1 touch down front windows however they don't work correctly.
To get the drivers window to go down you have to press UP on one of the other windows at the same time.
To get the passenger window to go down you have to do the same and press up on one of the other windows.
Rear windows work ( well the glass is detached on one but you can here the motor going up and down)
And windows go up normally.
So we can rule out the motors.
I think it must be the central Module or the switch gear. I bought some switches but they are the wrong type ( not the single piece switch pack that mine has.)
Does this Early 97 car have the single control module in the boot somewhere? If so where is it as I can't easily see it ( A picture would be great! ).
