Has someone swapped out to some high flow headers? If so could I have some pics or some tips on how to do it easier? Thanks!

supersprint header installed on my m111 engine, its a rough job on the kompressor engine, like 10 hours labor if you some what know what you are doing. you have to remove a lot of stuff as well as the supercharger pieces to install it

I have high flow headers too, but didn't run into as much trouble since no kompressor on mine.

-Gakz, do you find that the car runs a bit too rich now?

supersprint headers are very expensive. It may actually be cheaper to have some made instead.

What about those obx headers?

What about those obx headers?

I'd personally stay away from them. Granted, they do reverse engineer good designs, and they will make better power than the restrictive stock headers, but there's a reason why they're so inexpensive; the rate of failure (cracks, misalignment, etc) is much higher than other brands, such as supersprint, kleeman, or renntech.

Can you post a link for those brands for the kompressor please?

My car runs significantly richer due to the cams, header, and fuel system changes I have.. :/

You need a tune. Upsolute can do a custom map for the same price as the regular tune. Just tell em what you have done and that its running rich. Also, where did you get cams? Are they those rare schrick cams?

yes, they are among the rare schrick ones.. Im fine with it running rich for now tho

I had the supersprint header on my w202 kompressor.. loved it. was worth the money for sure (I got it second hand, but very minimally used).
but I agree.. there is a reason why those obx ones are cheap. I'd recommend the supsersprint ones for sure.
