yes, i awoke today to the lovely sight of my bonnet badge broken in the hole with the badge itself nowhere to be seen, whichever scrubber tried it failed and rendered it useless for him/herself and me, if your career choice is second-hand merc badges at least get to know hoe to disconnect the bxxxxxxs from the bonnets...
just thought i'd share this with all y'all....

they broke it from the thin 'stalk' area underneath the circle - suppose it's 'inevitable' with these badges and on-street parking... might add a flat bonnet badge but i like to use the raised one as a point of reference when driving...some horrible people about..

my car looks so 'unkept and neglected' now without the badge, ebay throws 'em up for about £30 a pop but i've already bought the flat one and put it in my parts-box ready for january when i send her in, i refuse to put a grill with a badge on my w202 because i don't think the car suits it, so i was happy with a new avantgarde grill with the bonnet badge, thats now changed to an avantgarde grill with a FLAT bonnet badge.... onwards..

maybe it was a gangsta wannabe hip hopper trying to look cool with a STAR around his neck?
flat hood emblem is the way to go.
like on my car.
my flathood badge is made of metal and is also engraved on all details on the logo, no cheapo plastic

that badge looks too good, however as much as id like to i wouldn't put it on my 202 cos its a 2.0 petrol injection without the supercharger, i'm not one of those to splatter //AMG badges all over it, there's a method to my design madness lol

I've got very good genuine used W202 bonnet stars .
The top row are from W201s, W124s etc, the bottom row are the ones that fit W202s, W210s etc.
£18 mailed anywhere in the UK. PM me if interested.

I had my badge stolen off one of my W202s while parked in Cardiff. Instead of replace it with a stick up emblem and risk having it done again I opted to get a flat badge instead which looks much cleaner in my opinion and you dont have the risk of having it torn off.

I remember growing up in Romania and people would always steal the badge from my dad's w124. so annoying!

Had my hood ornament ripped off once in college. Had my trunk badge broken in half in college as well. Not bad, considering I parked my car in public for 12 straight years.

don't feel bad, some asswipe broke mine off my accident & tried putting it back. scratches all around the emblem area because of that, rather they have just taken it or tossed it

I Had mine ripped off last month. Well, 9 other Mercedes at my apartment block also had theirs ripped on the same day! Serial Logo Ripper i presume!!! So i opted to install the Flat Hood Badge instead.

Your not a true mercedes owner until you had your star snatched Lol. Had some haters at my school rip my trunk badge off and broke it in half and put it on my hood, than they tried miserably to take the hood star off, but all it did was scratch my paint :(...
Haters gon hate.
