And yes. I know I need to lower the car. Haha 4x4 ftw for right now. I'm looking for compressor side skirts before I lower it

Positive n negative comments are welcome

Those rims are my favorite next to Monoblocks. Looking good, did you clearcoat the lip?

Nope. They're chromed/polished. I'm not even sure what rims they are. Knock offs of something obviously. But theyre 18x10 in the rear!! That's what sold me. With an 8.5 wide in front.

ditch the front lic plate and it will make that front end look so much better, I know Cali cops are ball busters tho lol

I know how that washing thing is. My body kit project is the reason my car hardly gets washed anymore! Have you thought about finishing the rest of the car off with a C36 rear bumper and side skirts? I think it would look pretty good with the more boxy look of the Rieger lip. Even C36 replica parts.

Yea I've thought about that also. Figured kompressor skirts r easier to get a hold of

Hmm. I had a video shoot in Dublin yesterday. Coincidence. I'm just a low level producer for business profile videos. Nothing fancy.

Anyway, how do 18x10's look so small on that thing?? I have 2pc. A mg monos with 18x10 in the back and they look huge!

Haha I'm not sure about that. I'll take some pics of the rear today and u can see again if it's small. I'm not
Lowered either so maybe that plays a factor

Great, now I know what I'm doing this weekend....finding all the hardware to install front plates on my cars. Appreciate the heads up!

Thanks man!! Yea before I lower it. There's a lot On my list of things that need to be done. I've never drove a car not lowered either. This is my first 4x4. Every car I've had. I lowered the next day. This car has got some maitence stuff to do before anything. And currently looking for a job bc got laid off. That's why I moved out of sac. Maybe there's more opportunity here. Anyone know anyone hiring? Lol

I know. But I need smaller tires too before I do that. The rears stretch out nice. The fronts are still too big. They're gonna rub hella bad and I don't want to roll and pull them that far. An my rear shocks need replacing. Lol. Trust me. I would have already cut them a long time ago. And the tires. I just took them off a set of runs I had On a set of other rims. So that's why I didn't get the ones I want. Lol and forget temporary cutting. Ima prolly just run stock cut springs on shocks PERMANENTLY!! Lol I dnt give a hoot!! Haha unless I find a nice cheap set of HandRs and bilsteins

Looks great love the blacked out grill. Would love to do that but on a red car I dont think it would look right. Anyway super simple an clean car

what tire size are you running? what's the offset of those wheels? looking at the pics your tires are way too tall/wide...

chimchongdlight
01-25-2012, 07:05 PM
yea the fronts are 235/40...um off set of 40 i think but got 20mm spacer all around..the front wheels are 18x8.5 and the rears are 18x10 with the same offset and tire size, so the rear stretches out a little nicer than the front, like i said i didnt wanna be picky bc i already had the tires, the front im prolly gonna be changing them to a 215 or 225 tire...whenever i get a new job here in the bay

thanks nine four one...the grill issue, just did what i did, plastidip, so that way if it doesn't look good, just peel it off
