need to lock doors with remote with engine running

97 c280, I live in montreal,in the winter i need to be able to warm up the car and lock it.
both my switchblade key remote and viper alarm remote are disabled when the car is running, can i tap into the interior central lock switch that remains active with the car running or the pump door lock/unlock wires? has anyone done it and how?

You can install a keyless entry module connected to the trunk key switch to open and close all doors without the alarm coming on if the key is in the ignition.

I have this installed in my car, never had a problem with this
