Back.

1st post.

Question: Anyone got LED tail/turn signal/brake lights in the back?

Currently, the only blinking LEDs are the amber ones on my bling-bling rearview mirrors.

My #1 concern is safety and LED brake lights are on top my my list of mods.

After careful research of ALL 2004 cars/SUVs, I've come to the
conclusion that the Range Rover has the BRIGHTEST red LED brake
lights. In fact, they are blindingly bright if you stare directly at them.
(unfortunatly also very expensive for the module, thus not
a suitable cadidate for modding into W202 use) :(

As per my experience with LED, as already said they light up less then standard bulb. I've tried them into dome light and the do not satisfy me. I've installed them (superbrightleds.com type with 6leds per bulb) into my front european headlight (with dedicated resistance to avoid internal bulb failure signal). With daylight they are not visible, but in the darkness light are really ice-white and not yellowish!
