Have you used it?

My friend had rented one for his W204 but wasn't able to fit it to the spring..

havent done it either... i went the no spring compressor way last time i did my suspension.. my friend borrowed an MB spring compressor when i helped him out... makes the job much cheaper...

i know there was a guy in SF trying to sell his... cant remember his name or online name...

I've tried that one from AutoZoneyears ago, did not work on W201 or W202...

The one I used on all cars was the one from Norhther Tool (for front springs only, rears were just easier w/o):

http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200396118_200396118

Worked great on all fronts of W201, W202 and W124, and for that price - it's a keeper...

D

I recently bought one. Should come in a few days. I may sell it when I am through using it, though.

I'd do the same if the market for these were easy to sell!

It's similar to that. It comes in a red case instead, but I figure it's the same exact thing but in different packaging.
