1995 W202 C220 Stock Height Rear

How many inches from the ground is the rear bumper? Reason I ask is because I might add something to the bottom of the bumper and I sort of want to get an idea of how much room i have. Also under the rear of the bumper in the middle is there anything that will block my way?

stock height? a lot... what were you trying to put there? a rear tow hool?

naw something really small. it's like 2.5 X 2.5 X 5 inches or something like that. I'm just trying to get an idea of whether it's worth my while to do this mod. If i drop my car and have the thing on my car, the object may scrape like freaking crazy. So I'm trying to avoid the hassle now.

i measured yesterday and it looks like there's a foot. Does that sound right? Also I saw something under the bumper in the middle. What is that and does it get hot?
