Hi, I don't have a picture right now, but on my C36 when I start and it's cold outside (under 50 F outside) and after a while when my engine is warm enough it goes off.

The light I'm talking about looks like some kind of tank with liquid in it. there is the cap on the top right part (on the little symbol)

and the light is situated right next to the windsheild washer on. Wich means the 2nd light to the right on the central symbols right under my Km/h meter.

anyone knows what it means ?

thanks you

Just off the top of my head, that sounds like the engine coolant light to me. Any leaks under the car?

nop, no leak. seems 2/3 full.

Double checked, it does mean coolant level low. I would top it off and keep checking it a couple hours after each time you drive (so it has time to cool down).

Low coolant indicator light. I'm VERY familiar with this. Don't think I've ever owned an MB that didn't have a coolant leak at some time. If topping off the tank doesn't help, it could be the sensor or the wiring to the sensor. Is your engine wiring harness factory original?

I think to. is there any ways of seeing if it's the OEM ?

also, I asked a mechanic, and He told me that when my engine is cold and I start to run with it, the coolant level lowers down to keep it at a good temperature. So he told me that it might be just low enough so my light gets on.

anyway, I'm doing a full check of the liquids next week so they're going to check it.

fill it and see what happens. My light came on one night on my way home. I filled it up and it was gone.
