Try to avoid getting a used pump. It'll wear out a lot faster than a new one.

Does your current water pump leak? If it doesn't and can wait why don't you order it from autohausaz.com.
While you're there order the thermostat and replace it together with the pump for added peace of mind.

The water pump for C280 has different pattern than your C230.

Nah it doesnt leak but im collecting lots of parts together to do a full tune up from top to bottom. My car is coming up on 200k.

Anyone got an idea what i should be looking into? Ive researched and found some stuff on it but not set in stone. Everyone basically says the same thing

In that case you're good then. What about the belt tensioner? Serpentine belt? Steering damper(sic)?
Have you replaced your transmission fluid yet?
How about the flex disks?

Those things needs to be replaced or you'll be sorry.

Flex discs connect drive shaft to trans and diff. If one fails, you're in a world of hurt. They're made of rubber, so change them every 150k miles.

I'd be willing to bet you're losing some HP/MPG if your cats are factory originals.
