Are C280 outside mirrors the same as C43?

Hi all,
A bracket inside my passenger side rear view mirror broke, so I need new guts for that mirror. Can't just get the bracket. If C280 mirrors are similar, it would make it waaay easier to find a salvage one. Price is insanely stupid for new guts, $350? from dealer, ~$250 online...

I happen to have a C43 and 2 C280's. I'll check when I have the time.

I would vote for the w210 mirrors. Am I biased but I love them on my my 202's

Is it a hard job to put w210 mirrors on with the wiring?
